The clothes
that hide the supple flesh.
The speculative,
tailends of conversations
from behind the closed door.
Our passage
by an opened window--
the scene...the scent.
And what mystery
does that Wall obscure?
What secret lies
at the end of the tangled ivy
that skirts
over its top.
Such a desire for what "could be"
I wonder-
do we really want
to see?
