And at times I would get a glimpse behind the scrim- the wind lapping over a field all the stalks moving, in a graceful wave. Their tips torches of annointed moonlight- then an ethereal lament from a fluttering crow and a breeze scented with cornsilk and all too soon- a dark cloud passed and killed the moon.
