How is it today
As I sit alone
Thinking of thee
You have not seen
A message of love
That I have left behind

How is it today
As the sun shines
Wishing you were by my side
Holding my hand
Along the beach
Walking on the sand

How is it today
I feel you near
Knowing that something has happened
In between the hours my dear
As I leave a message of love
Just to be read

How is it today
As I sit alone
Waiting for the sun to set
Hoping all is okay
Oh how I pray
To hear from you soon my dearest Fred
