Thankful for You

I’m thankful for you, for all you do.

And thankful that the sky is still blue.

I’m thankful for the time we spent together,

All that we’ve done in spite of the weather.

I'm thankful for you saving my life.

Thankful for you easing my strife.

I’m thankful that you are my everything,

Old Sol greets the morning and the birds sing.

Thankful that anger never comes to your door,

Because life is too precious to waste it for more.

Most of all, I’m just thankful for you,

I would have died without what you do.

Continue the fight until the end,

And my love for you will never bend.
