Fire in the girl’s bathroom
Inferno in the little girl’s heart
Mamma left her high and dry
They were once so very close
At the young ages of 4, 5 and 6
She took care of mom and hugged her when she cried
At 7 and 8, like it or not
It was she who took care of little sister
Once turned away, and happy to be out
She deeply felt her mothers blame
But her hand made valentines spoke the truth
“Mom, where are you, I love you so much”
Nothing in her young and tender heart
Helps her to fathom what she did or didn’t do
That made mom choose a life without her
She really had tried to be so very good
Wishing you well..
