Amongst the angst Which has often accompanied our relationship Since his late teen struggles and those he faces still A simple every day act of mine Brought much longed for praise from him, my son He said to me, �Mom, you shine through� Tears welled and In the wake of his words I was rendered speechless

that's just how I hoped that I could affect you with that or any other comment I make, I just call it as I see it. You do shine through, so I can rightfuly say that it was the complete truth.
I love you mom always shine through never get too depressed to where you let other people get you down 'cuz you're way too good for that.

When our children break through to our hearts in such a way there is no feeling in all the world like it. I rememeber when my first book got published my daughter did a Scrapbook celebrating my whole life and I almost melted with love.
