The world, my world

Spins fast enough, (at 700 to1000 miles per hour) to keep

The lot of its inhabitants

From a torpedo flight into outer space

That same breakneck speed,

Though I work as fast as I can”

Keeps me from ever, ever, catching up,

From ever reaching that proverbial finish line

I’ve packed each day with lists “To Do”

And done or not, the next day comes

How can 365 x 50 have flown so quickly,

Into the never-ending vault of memories?
