The small boy walked toward me
The younger brother of by newest student
His body was rigid from determination
His lips shook with fear…
But, bravery welled up from his soul
"I need to speak with someone
I really need some help
I want to take care of my brother's discretions
I will scrub the graffiti
And give my allowance to pay his fines"
The words I wanted to say were caught in my throat, unspoken
As the nobility of his act sunk in
"You see, my brother is in enough trouble
He already must see the judge
Please, I need you to do this for us
Please let me take care of this for him"
This boys love and devotion to his very troubled brother
Touched me to the core
A beautiful unsung hero-
His big brother, oblivious that he was
The luckiest big brother ever

The older brother doesn't even know, his little brother is his caring Angel, let him KNOW! unless he asked you in secrecy, I know I would! and give him a hug, even tho' I know Puplic affection is wrong in school settings! You must listen to your own heart too, I did but I almost got Fired- I did n't tho'- I didn't!
