Religion brings out a cynical nature

The absolute truth of none is believable

But, spirituality lives deep in the soul

The reality of possibility is evident in all

Living in each given moment, ever striving

For a higher understanding, and greater level of awareness

Then taking action to be better, leaving one open

To the immense possibilities that be

Possibilities !! Possibly the hardest reality faced by Christians is that sense of dissappointment when other Christians turn out to be just people complete with faults. God lives in our hearts and we find Him/Her by looking within. Nicely written with a good message.

... sounds to me like your words are after a God's own heart, Karen! Yes, too sad that established religion often misrepresents what is in the mind of an all-loving Creator God. We best show His face here on earth by living according to the spirits of harmonies and grace that are most peace-loving and fruitful. It is sad when spirituality is seen to be divorced from "true religion", but such is often the case. Love the truth you tell. TY Kate xx

Karen I am another who enjoyed the truth you write, I too believe that if we live a good life and love one another then true spirituality shines through. Thank you for sharing.
