The measure of our worth - truly something we should all ponder from time to time.

Wise words, Karen. When we truly become responsible and aware of our actions we become finer and finer human beings.

Amen to that sista!.Another reader put it best when he said that the old "do as I say and not what I do" will come back and haunt a parent where they least expected it.Parents as well as other people should be careful at not the way we say or do things,but how we say or do things in front of people.Our own worst enemy is ourselves and how we act and conduct ourselves.I remember one time my dad would always say "think before we say something".Unfortunately he doesn't take his own advice since he's a hot head and have a very bad habit of saying mean-spirited things to people.I enjoy reading this poem as it expresses wisdom, knowledge, and the compassion of human emotions

You are right--our mouth and our actions speak louder than anything else and if we don't discipline them we will be judged accordingly.

Everyone is always watching us from somewhere. Everwhere we go we should set good examples for others. I learned this a long time ago, but don't always abide by it. Wish I could be more worthy of love and all. I sometimes do not think I live such a good life as I could. Am compulsive gambler and friend just called to go to Bingo. I said no, having a good time on the den. Believe I'll just stay home tonight and read posts on the den. I'd be more worthy of God's loving doing that than going against him again.
