Secret Wish
On the eve of her re-admittance to the hospital,
As she saw before her, her impending hell,
And the gift of life it would bring,
My sister secretly wished for snow.
She wanted to see the young horses play,
And sniff at the cold white fluff.
Her heart wanted to experience the magic of,
That silent white magic, the first snow of winter.
And upon waking early, before her was lain,
A carpet of white, Magic and silent,
While others complained of the inconvenience,
She reveled inside as her horses cavorted!
Healing prayers to you and your sister.
