school is out and i can now spend more time with my horses. It is powerful therapy for me!

Poem Artwork

Powerful yielding

How fortunate I am to bestride you,

To feel your strength between my thighs,

And the power, which could unseat me with ease,

Yet yields to the slightest touch of my heels.

The arch of you neck lends to your submission in my hands,

As I hold and guide you with subtle movements fingers alone,

But the wind in your mane and in my hair as well,

Speak to the freedom and joy you give to me.

Wonderful title.
And the empathy you have,
and the love you have for,
your friend is clearly evident.

I don't know why, but the beauty of this made me cry. I adore horses and you have perfectly captured that feeling of being allowed to master the one who could so easily master you. Oh this is so incredible!!

Such strength and passion in this liberating write, Karen. Can sense the one-ness between you and your beautiful mount. Exhilarating and cathartic. Who can fail to feel brand new after a ride of this nature?! Excellent! xx

A freedom woman and horse work out together, it's a telepathic ride behind the reins and the flairing nostrils of both species with a gush of fresh air recharging the system, Karen! Powerful Yielding, indeed! Have a great summer...Happy Birthday!

great one karen...you KNOW i like this. You've done a good job describing the total infinite freedom, oneness of flesh... the awesome power of muscle and sinew moving with you... totally in sync...body and being.....cares and troubles of life whooshing out of your head...dissapating powerless into the clouds.

life does tend to get in the way of our personal joys doesn't it...
