I seek You in the silence of my room...

I seek You in the silence of my room,
I've come to search for Your presence,
knowing You reward those who call out Your name,
believing You're Lord and Savior of all.

Help me Lord to build an unyielding foundation,
in quest of Your direction in all that I do.
I want to establish my covenant with You,
sealing the faith I have in Your word.

Permit me to follow Your will with enthusiasm,
knowing it is my surest path to eternal peace.
You've promised in Your word to bless
those requesting Your words through faith.

Grant me the ability to reach out to others,
offering them Your way to righteousness.
Allow me to do this without recognition,
through the will of Your Holy Spirit.

Lead me through paths of unrighteousness,
allow my words to flow through the hearts
of those who are looking for peace, contentment,
and a will to find their direction in their lives.
