Clear The Clutter

Take one day at a time...

Clutter in the heart can weigh one down,
you push and shove your hurts all around.
A soul is born from the foundation and up,
in time, it wears and no longer is tough.

Heartache's kill a spirit and warps a mind,
it doesn't take much to make one unwind.
A being's like a vessel filled up to the brim,
it overflows...until "no" more will flow in.

Don't pressure the heart and weary the soul,
life is short and a spirit needs to be bold.
Cut out the confusions you're putting within,
permit the being to heal and to mend.

Clutter in a heart can weigh one down,
allowing one to live with a lament frown.
Seal all the anguish before it grows,
you'll never attain this big overload.

Take life one day at a time,
permit yourself to sit and unwind..
Beware of despairs and hurtful obsessions,
you'll never be troubled with any depressions.

I need this pasted before my eyes and to wear it pinned to my forehead, Barbara. It is AWESOME wisdom, beautifully crafted, and speaks to me on ALL levels as I am in the midst of clearing 20+ years clutter from my home, and am at a crossroads in life where my family are spreading to the four winds - literally! I thank you for the ministry of this poem and of the gift of your heart and mind that conceived it. Kate xx

The heart can get full sometimes. We always need to let go some parts of our past and to forgive those we hurt and who hurt us. That helps to free up morre space.
Love and blessings!
