Kiss me, my darling,
On this moonless night
The sweetness of your lips
Will be your parting gift.
I wish to fill with you
My empty soul,
To hold you there
As the barrel keeps
The bitter vintage
Of forgotten years.

Kiss me, my darling,
On this Autumn night
When trees don’t stir
And birds don’t sing.
Kiss me and you
Will hear my heart,
My lonely heart
That you abused.

Kiss me, my darling,
On this silent night
Kiss me while stars
Are still asleep.
Kiss me so that
You’ll never see
The void of sadness
In my eyes.

Kiss me, my darling,
Let not heart believe
That in my life you came
To no other end
But cause the heartache.

Kiss me, my darling,
On this sweet night of misery.
Until the dawn has come
Let’s play the game of love.
I’ll play the role of fool.
Deceive me one last time,
For this night is the last
For both of us, my friend,
Of this you’re not aware.

So many emotions of opposite sides of love...the visual of deep love and then the love of abuse incorporated into a relation on it's ending song...

That in my life you came
To no other end
But cause the heartache.
'
..the above words have caused me to ponder on many 'wyhs' and 'wherefores'..
one truth I DO know is that all we experience has been earned one way or the other..in this life or past lives..for me there is no belief more logical..I believe that our own projections and convictions attract people and circumstances into our REALITY..oftentimes we get a glimpse of the WHY and if we look deeply into it we may be blessed with a revelation that WE ourselves have created the WHY mostly because some aspect of our own BEINGNESS cannot accept JOY, LOVE and FEELING..indeed most of us need to LOVE ourselves FIRST ;only then can another Love us..better said, only THEN can we fully accept the fact that we DESERVE to be loved..as that eventuates our Beloved enters our life-scenario..and unconditional love is born!

Love this piece Liana..:)

Blessings,

Vesna

Romantically symbolistical... "Kiss me" takes one to a trip through sensual and libidinal places, but the surprise end made me feel that there was plot to collective suicide.

"Kiss me" is a poetic grand sung with true emotions.

Much gratitiude to Master translator Anatol Kardiukov.
