(an Artist's Apology)
My hands are not the fine, slim, delicate hands of the artist. I have no skill at music, I lack the grace to dance and the courage to fly. No one mistakes me for a movie star, or begs me to sing at their wedding. I can do two things. I can write, and I can dream.... Together, they are enough.
