TRASK,
Doctors and hospitals overcharge because they know they can. I am on a fixed income with no health insurance so I know what you are talking about. Precriptons are also too expensive. We are up the creek without a paddle as far as keeping up with the rising cost of hospitals and doctors offices. A much needed read, my friend.

Trask, had an ambulance pick up my youngest son from school in Redondo Beach and take him to South Bay (12 blocks) billed me $2000.00) told them they were nuts!!!!! Said next time I will carry him, he was 6 1/2 at the time. Do hope you get well, will keep you in my prayers.
