I am longing to speak face to face to myself.
I am thinking of sharing some pains with myself.
I don’t know any other space, except in the mirror.
It is in the mirror that I might find my interlocutor.
I am standing in front of my middle-sized mirror
looking at a figure opposite me smiling as I smile.
We both talk at the same time; nobody is listening.
We look just the same, but none of us has been cloned.
I begin to realize that things should not always be the same.
One needs to know something or somebody different
to talk to or to share pains with in two ways.
Talking in the mirror is not the only way.
