Pen in my hand, Wondering what to write, Lacking inspiration, Lacking ideas, So what to do next? Maybe have a drink? Swallow my pride, And my whiskey, Working so hard, Getting nothing, Frustration building, So what to do next, Punch a wall, Maybe kick a dog? My bliss is gone, Please help me regain The happiness so true , Help me find my niche, Help me write another poem.

We all get mind block from time to time. I find standing in the middle of the freeway during rush hour helps me to come up with all kinds of ideas.
