The days of my life
Are but a horror story,
So much sorrow,
So much pain,
Bringing an end to this nightmare of life,
Would be what I crave.
Provided to me
Is the right to survive,
But please bring an end to this nightmare,
Smiles and chuckles
Have left my life,
Long past are the thoughts of happiness,
The end is near,
But yet so far,
Come to me, ray of sunshine,
And make this nightmare no more.

A poem written with raw emotion and feeling. Most of us have felt as if life was a constant slap in the face at one time or another. Things do always improve, it takes time and faith in yourself. Keep writing, it's an excellent way to begin to heal.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
