Everyone Likes A Surprise!

When you turn to Jesus,
you'll be in for a surprise.
Peace will overtake you,
put a sparkle in your eyes.
Burdens will seem lighter;
from your sin you'll want to part.
When you read the Bible,
you'll find God speaks to your heart.
What once was clear as mud,
you'll understand more and more.
Singing will be joyful,
and "church" no longer a chore.
All those "high and mightys,"
you'll find out, are mighty nice--
(Guess who you'll be asking
when you need some good advice!)
Jesus gives you new life,
so much better than the old;
You won't want to trade it
for a treasure chest of gold.
