Autumn cannot get here soon enough - I, too, wait for endless tubes of birds to fly south on the cooler winds of September - I hope. 105 the past two days, colder today, only 97. LOL Back to triple digit heat by week's end - well done, Juliet, love the imagery, the passion, in your lines!
Don't wish for summer's end just yet. Summer is too short to begin with. It is hot 90 degrees today and not too bad as of now after 4 p.m. Was just outside for mail and sat at picnic table a while. Haven't sat outside much these hot summer nights, but maybe I will when I move and have someone there to sit with on the porch.
