Mirrored light intense in the late afternoon
as the sun slowly settles upon the waters
shedding waves in streams of hues
reds, yellows, pink mixed with the skies own blues
reflected by the oceans still face
the face of the bright life giving sun
and it aura of cascading light
brandishing clouds with golden sprays
looking much like gold fairy floss
slowly as deeply the sun dips for its swim
the hues darken to crimson red, orange
and purple splash the skies in widening arcs
the final brush strokes, masterful genius
for one moment two suns existed
for one moment gold reach forth
and touched my feet upon sandy shore
and i saw a painting as my heart lifted
made especially for one as me.
