(In the midst of it all, there is still precious space.)
Through the window the Ohio pasture rolls toward darkness. An unearthed sycamore lies nature raped with roots exposed and the leaves have fallen. Storms rage while formless shrouds descend into matter hung on the perfect emptiness of two lines drawn in sand.
