Ship Wreched Two ships Sailing stars Bright and shining To dreams afar. Two Hearts Broken Two pair of lips Tenderly kissing What does tomorrow hold? Will it be cold? What words will be told Truthfully Three tears May appear Or may Just as suddenly Disappear Four roses A glimpse was all I got One chance to catch my breath Of fresh air To touch your hair Long long long ago I wanted to tell you “I do care.” Yet nothing but lust Filled the air Perchance To dance Happenstance Just to say “Hello.” Down in the valley we go Where shadows come slowly And sunsets too quickly. db
