Patriotic poem with a message...We will dig our talons into the earth
fan out our feathers for what their worth
We will dig our talons into the earth
fan out our feathers for what their worth
Show your face
Stand behind the race
Hold on fast, Let freedom Ring
Our roots run deeper, Forever we sing
For our actions speak louder than the eagles broad wings
Hundreds of miles where the peacenik walks
Stands out on a limb whenever he squawks
Bird of prey, get on your knees
Exercise the state of your war hawks creeds
For the hole- and- corner life only an ostrich leads
The bald eagle was vulnerable till he grew some hair
Don’t be exposed in your underwear
Violence intimidates what the free-est of free aims
Even the keen-sighted shall become tame
devotional, dignified, but never the same
The symbols, the emblems, the badges of men
A hand could shake all truth of you then
Our fatherland, motherland, estates of the realm
Your Bird of Jove flits on by the shady elm.
No more in the door, build boundaries of new
Add another language to the wall of the loo
Make up your mind, your flying in skirts
You fight the toque, while your own nest hurts
