My so far, so close, so special friend
I count the days until we meet again

My so far, so close, so special friend
I count the days until we meet again.
Ever since our very first smile,
exchanged between us in a crowded room.
Holding hands along the shore.
Feeling your touch,
watching waves,
under a glowing moon.

Searching into each others eyes
Anticipated kiss,
Rushing Hi’s

My so far, so close, so special friend
I count the days until we meet again

Sweaty love in the back of a van
over and under and over again.
Holding you close,
letting you go
wanting you back,
missing you so......

My so far, so close, so special friend
I count the days until we meet again

Days have passed
Memories we’ve shared
Lifetime sadness,
Stupid errs.
Laughing, crying,
Concerns and care
Loving feelings...if we dare?

My so far, so close, so special friend
I count the days until we meet again

Dialing your number, hearing your ring,
Another day closer,
Where will it bring?
Me and You
Miles apart
Waiting to touch the strings of my heart.

So watch me soar
into the skies
Sparkling smile and wanting eyes
Waiting, saving
about to burst
Damn you baby ,
I need a drink!
