"Why There is Hate"

Why there is hate
Is so plain to see
but somehow society
has disguised you and me
The air we just breathed
just passed over a mother
crying for all of us
to stop killing each other

The sons of pride
where heritage reigns,
fuels up the world
with missiles and planes
The skies above
witness unending love,
While our mantles... they seethe
some past evil skulls

We surpassed the Jones’s
whoever they were
And some people say...
"they" do have a cure
But politics stop
to measure its worth
For greed has power
over innocent birth

The sun we have
is only One
An earth that spins
as we all hold on
"Home Sweet Home"
Where ever you are?
Open the sky
for all you and I

Why there is hate
just "Let it be..."
"Lord, allow Peace to begin
and you can start with me!
"Love one Another"
and
Live to be free!
Why is there hate?

Lord, I'm on my knees...
