Fro’ Mother’s Mountains, like on Ganges chain to the Pap’s of Anu, where our nourishing symbols reign Ay, the Pyramids of the Earth when the Hapi waters swelled, Anuket gave birth to the flowing rocks that felled
Fillings with food, Chansonette stitches burst The heirs circle rises as Annapurna’s lure thirsts O’ bountiful milk in the ducts of sustenance Man the torpedoes, there’s a damn about to fence
From Giza to the Great, in the tombs of kings and queens The Bullet bras spoked, hence, "ego lifts heights, where coned ignorance seams" Look up at Old Kingdom sky, O’ Mizar and Kochab the Dipper stars were named, when aligned, true north
But then, precessions disclaimed even the "Blonde’s Ambitions" Still, these "Sweater Girls" of Egypt provide us recognition The golden number, as if phi could stay, beguiles the ratios, as time will run to play
And when the Maiden of the Wind causes, and she stands erect, we learn not to fight but to understand respect Feed the children, O’ silhouettes of the sand, as your pyramids feed the roof of the sky! Glandular rivers, even Everest points high, always flows freely from a Mother Snow’s vie
See them stand at the edge of insignificance Hear the papyrus of the Nile, in their carved hieroglyphic scripts Tell me, give worth of the Chomolungma, Himalayas and I will tell you, then...of the Pyramids of the Earth

Your wit Kimmy is the stuff that legends are made out of. Only you would have seen a coupla titties in this picture. (-: You are truly a creative anaconda. Oops, did I say that?
Keeping abreast of your abstract mind...twin peaks...nourishment suckles The Sweater Girls of Egypt, sustenance of your flawless, globular poetry feeds our inspiration, Kimmy...nice cultural work with a metaphorical bent, teetering on the position of the ancient sun...a cartouche of spiritual intelligentsia...
Reads like a cryptic pronouncement from the gods embedded in the walls of Karnak, Phillae and Luxor Temples.
The prose flows like the Nile, not so much as it passess through the delta spanning Cairo and all its pollution, but from its southern point at Aswan dam where the water flows clean and culture conservative - albeit absorbing a Nubian people.
This does not say anything about the poem, but then again, the answer to this is in the preface: ' can't help it if I have an abstract mind! LOL!..'
I can't help reading the narrative through a geological lens!
Awesome write. This is absolutely gorgeous. You have given us a history here of one of the seven wonders of the world. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading your other works.
Beautiufl write that dance through history and space like you were taking us on a magic carpet ride. Sharp crisp images that leave their mark on the mind of the reader.
Scrolls are flying out from the trunk of time... This symbological surreal, wit-impressionist composition stikes the dynamo of my psychobiological memory-center... More one reads, more the poem reveals from its arcane wombs.
Been there, with no people around, surrounded by silence and a weak breeze coming from Sahara.
Still I haven't got words to describe my feelings then.
Great reminder!
