Looking down on me from my mother’s eyes Did her hopes unfold with all my tries? Did her dreams for me all come true ? Was I worthy in everything and all that I do?
Her priceless tears without conditions she shed I lie wondering in prayer every night in bed Is she smiling at me. . . for what am I? Just thinking of this always makes me cry
Don’t get me wrong, I’m just alright She’s just crossing my mind on this quiet night I miss her voice, my mother’s wit She went back home to rest a bit
I know she wants the best for me And I pray for her life, eternally Her closeness seems so far, but near to mine Is she pleased with me, her child of mine?

Dear Mom, I always love reading this. Even if it does make me sad. I don't know how anyone couldn't be proud of you, especially your mom! She is always in my thoughts too. I have a feeling that there are thousands of wonderful memories of her, floating around in the minds of our family and friends every day. I would love to grasp just a few... Love You!!!

A wonderful write for all the mothers who have passed on or are somewhere not to be found. those are harder mother's days. Wishing you a wonder day. Lady J
In Rotterdam, Holland, Winter 1944-1945 it could had been any day a Mother's Day, because many soldiers were thinking on her, wishing that the war was over and they could run to be embraced by the warm arms that they longed for so long.
You picture the kind of peaceful calm and tenderness that all those soldier dreamed of.

The fact that you could write such a delicate and intimate tribute to your mother indicates a loving bond wherein only mutual satisfaction resides and continues to flow.
No one I know has more experience as a mother than you Kimmie so I truly believe our Moms like spirits become a part of us and are never truly gone.

I know what you're going through...mother's day isn't the same anymore, it also happens to fall on my mom's birthday this year, she would have been 62.
