ommies been soaking in pleasance in their day-spa pools E mergency rooms becoming, the family doc R utted in their rituals; a bunch of ass and elephant crocks! I cons’ reincarnate C aesarian Rule A nd they say, "twice on purpose," will only answer to, "Hey Fool!" S hining seas will wave in a goodbye, `grace . . .
R eflect your actions, people, we’re flapping our colors in disgrace! E mporium bazaars sell our tick-tock, ticking clocks F locks will only follow, the Leader with a flock! L eavings only cover where your sidewalk cracks . . . E nd your overpaid allowances, for all the sakes of all those Jacks’! C ure your ailing diseases, America T urn around your own backs. . . I ntercede the enemy, maybe, even, gain some of what you lack! N egotiating principles, wastes on wasting time G ets off playing the games, yeah . . . let’s end this sad, mimicking of mimes!
O nce we were a nation, where Freedom rung N ot too many left, to reach, those same notes we once sung
H ang your drawing of America and redraw, then, what she drew E rase the past by painting over, everything we’ve screwed R ight all our writes, and stop billing us on our own Bill of Rights!
S he started with a purpose, we must never give up, with fight! P omp, eclat n’ circumstances, never added up to anything but tripe! A dorning, according to dangles, the star-spangled banner never flew. . . N ot one of us can cry, for this is what we did, and has been, lately, what we do G littering amid the gluttons, is replacing our Pilgrims pride L ight of her light E mbellished buttons, America, now, reflecting on, her spangle, spangled lights . . .
The function of the STATE is to provide welfare to the NATION: >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Security, Health, Public Instruction. < < < < < < < < < < < < Unless it is a THEOCRATIC-PLUTOCRATIC STATE, which can be translated as a country of mindless people, and PARADISE of the THEO-PLUTOCRATS.

Excellent write, Mom! Unfortunately true, but nonetheless, you have captured these struggles, eloquently. Love the play on letters. If only the elected could see what you see... or atleast acknowledge it... and DO something!

I wish the people and this country had the grace, dignity,love, respect, patriotism, and love-thy-neighbor mentality that they did in my youth. I've seen so much great change--some good---some bad.
We desperately need a change---but from whom and where will it come?
Wow Kimmy you have struck right at the heart of what we see happening, but how to change it all back. We elect those who promise, then the can't remember who they said what to. It is supposed to be "We the People" but I think we have become "People the We" instead.
