"Leaf-A-Bye Babe"
In the leaves, come forth
The child’s face, skins against wind
Free of deadly sins . . .
Comprehending twigs.
Main stems, tapped, emanate sap. . .
Branches kiss the light.
Vines wrap in ohmage. Figures, pouts, by fores the rain! Wilted leaves, stanched wrath. . .
Never lose your path!
In the heat of the matter . . .
The huff twines dense woods!
Take Mom for granted. . .
Her wind is separated!
Instinctive chorus. . .
Sing to your children! On a blanket with my babe . . . Is that where you’ll be?
No, you won’t find her
Singing under the boardwalks
Hear!...in afforest. . .
Thick bedding, last Falls'
Drop shedding, rotting, sweating. . .
Thoughts of change, fear her!
. . .And invasions up ahead
And everything said . . .
Nature, is to pan. Hear it in thewind!
. . . Of anything familiar. "Will, your scaring me!"
In some nutate breeze . . .
Those faces started swaying Saying, "Trace of thee!" That was one wise owl!
She gave me, appreciably . . .
To eye of my tree.
Gaol'd, the pupils larn
Descrying of discernment Thy young bourgeon . . . In the leaves, come forth
If the children’s faces fall . . . ?
Trees and cradles, bow. . .

Mom,
When you write about what you know... it shows! Beautiful pen, superb diction... it ROCKs! A BYE, for now, BABY
The image is so endearing, and your love of children, and the magic that they exude to what is around them, is a fresh breeze. My god, from the looks of your bio-photo, you are still a teen-ager yourself. Another gem from your unique pen.
Blessings ...
Bringing a new child to this world of us needs courage and overall optimism that the future will be better than the one we are making today. God bless those new children, because they will need it.
Kimmy, you are one of those optimist, we need more like you!
...if all babies...could be so raptured in these leaves...you spell us with...such words of growth...then this song of security...rocks.
