Damselfly,  dragonflies,  darter
Reflective realms refract
Artistically airing acrobatically
Glinting gliders,  gust. . .
Orange-spot Old Glassy,  Odonata
Net-veined, needled,  new
Ferociously flying freely
Lightly landing life
Ying Yang, Yang Ying. . .  Youth!

I had been admiring this drawing especially.
It got me thinking I know my son got some amazing dragonfly photos last summer I have not even seen...have to get after him.

Dragonflies ... this past summer, I had never seen so many! Brought back memories of my youth. Beautiful artwork and verse, Kimmy, well done!

You make me to be again a little boy that curiously followed the dragonflies dance as I asked myself why they were doing that trying to get one of them to land on the back of my hand.

Love this bright and airy look at one of natue's firecest (to me) looking insect that has fueled the imagination of many a child.
