Cleaning My Closet

While looking to the future, I found a closet filled with memories of times past.

Why should I hold onto the past when if I share it with  my future,  I may help some little lass.

Hold out your arms, I'm dumping;  If by chance you find something to hold on to,  use it.

My life hasn't been a total wreck. When you find something you can do better than me, clean it up and make it work for you.

Even in my junk I'm God's child; a beauty to behold.  He didn't make any mess.

Beautiful write sister, reminded me of a sermon I heard not very long ago how just as we did spring cleaning, such as cleaning out our closets and from under the beds, we also needed to search ouselves and clean out the dust or anything that may have us bogged down...your write shows true compassion for others, very heartwarming. Loved it!
