Enjoyed this Louisa, I was the brunt end of gossip last week, for some reason and I still do not know why, their was a rumor spreading across the county where I live and teach, that I had quit my job! Can you believe that...have no earthly idea where it came from. I wasn't even aware that I was being discussed for I am the type to spend most every minute I have inside my classroom with my students, and when they are out, I am still inside my room either reviewing on the den, preparing lessons, reading, and sometimes praying. My aunt who works a different elementary school called and ask me if I had quit. I was stunned! Why would I quit, I asked her when I am loving every minute of my job, students, school, and living the dream that the Lord made possible? Still a mystery...but I didn't like being gossiped about across the county for some unknown reason. So, I like you wish to have a clear record when that great judgement day arrives, for we will have to account for every idle word...it's a close way! Great write my sister!
