This is an interesting poem, Barbara. I used to fish, quite a bit, and I am guilty of talking to the fish. (I've seen the experts on the fishing shows do it too, so I know I'm not alone in the insanity of the moment)
I've always wondered what was going through the fish's mind, whether it feels dumb for taking "doctored" food. Maybe I simply have too much time.
