Wind and waves on a Day in May
Windy May Day Winds howl low Waves crash Golden beach grass bows Green waves crash--splash Against the red light house Roll against the pier Then onto shore. White caps spray foam That catches on rocks Foam rolls on the sand. Sea gulls play on airstreams High in mid air. -- Barbara Spring

It seems almost always to be windy by the seashore. Your poem brings back memories of those times at the beach when the wind was as dominant as the breakers.
