The whole and flowing
I sing of the whole
And never alone. Never alone.

Sun and bloodroot one
Bear and woman one
Stone and water one
I am never alone
So long as there’s stone
And bloodroot blossoms
On the path I follow.
On Earth
The flow the flow the flow
Of running water
Enters every root and vein
In every rain life blood
And I am part of bear
stones and bones
Of those who lived before
I sing of the whole and flowing.
