another in a series of poems from my life, that i hope will teach kids to be themselves no matter what it takes.
i was teased and was harrassed
my very first day of class
doing my best to stand out
I never fit into thier crowd
being treated like a jerk
nothing i did ever worked
i was ridiculed and snubbed
trying to fit into thier clubs
every day my heart was broken
from the words that they had spoken
so i gathered all my strength
and decided to be myself
i stood really tall and proud
when they called my name out loud
and put me on the honor roll
as i took the graduation stroll
looking back i dont regret
anyghing i ever did
to yourself always be true
and there is nothing you cant do
