For a brief time our paths crossed we journeyed to lands unfamiliar where the sun was warm upon our skin we saw fields of daffodils in winter vistas of roses fresh with morning’s kiss were led to waterfalls of possibilities meadowlarks sang in the mid of night we drank our nectar from the same cup and danced the dance electric until the wind shifted and the road divided where we bid each other fond farewell. © Marcia Miller-Twiford
