I'll cross a room, turn a corner
Enter a restaurant or a shop
And he'll be there
He may be short or tall
Dark haired or blonde
He may even be bald
Maybe he'll be smiling
Or have a somber look
Absorbed in contemplation
Surveying life around him
He may be with a group
Or a solitary figure just waiting
But then he'll see me...
And I'll be there.
