The Thanksgiving Feast

Some want turkey, some want ham,
Another called this morning
Asking if we could please have lamb.

Jellied cranberries or the relish kind?
Should I add raisins, nuts and orange rind?
I fear at this point I may lose my mind.

Pumpkin pie, apple, or boysenberry?
If I exclude his favorite Uncle Larry
Will holler, "Where's the cherry?"

Sweet potatoes, broccoli, string beans or peas?
Mashed potatoes, maybe throw in some cheese?
Phone rang again, “Scalloped potatoes please.”

"And Jello with marshmallows or the little ones will pout."
I'm beginning to loose it, without a doubt.
There's only one solution --- we're eating out!
