What triumph is sweeter--
What defeat greater,
Than that which is won
Without the enemy’s knowledge?

They see what they want
Their vision sheared by evil, hatred…
They wear rose-color glasses to tint their view,
To convince themselves
That their cause is good
And our surrender
Is imminent.

Yet we, the righteous foe
Rest assured of our victory.
We once stood in ignorance
And fought them ferociously…

But now our eyes are open, our mouths closed.
We have become aware,
And these things are the fruits, the signs
Of our confidence that we will safely withstand
The trials,
The battles,
The slings and
The arrows…

We know the enemy’s celebration
Is premature, incomplete.
It shall be over when they begin to question why

There is peace in our usually busy camp…

We can ignore their taunts, and live happily, while

Peace eludes their hearts,

And even the wind blowing through their camps whispers
‘No weapon formed against them shall prosper.’

We patiently await their awakening
That day when they will join us in Truth--
And safely go about our business
Protected by the Hands our Maker
Our weapons are down,
Our spiritual eyes opened…

We see the spirits tormenting them
Warring with ghosts residing within…
And God patiently awaiting
Their acknowledgement of Him.
