This is a selection from my book--Our Tranquil Haven. It's being spoken by a woman in her 60s, who is being courted by a much younger man. After recovering from her disbelief at his advances, she lets him know that she is still ALL woman.
You might see me
Bellow, scream and pout
For I reserve the right
To express myself
You might see me
Strut with a grace reserved solely for queens
The queen that I am
Stands before you
With a waist made for holding.
You might sigh and gasp
As you notice the firmness of my breasts
That stand erect and full of promise…
My babies were well fed.
And you might learn
That my caramel coloured skin
Offers promise of tasty treats
Available for sampling
If you play your cards right.
I am a woman
Can be your woman
The perfect compliment to
Your life’s journey.
Only full grown men need apply
For I am not a toy to be left idle…
I am the bliss
That you will not discover until we unite.
STrong poem and written for a strong women indeed, I have been fortunate over the years to meet several of these women who stand tall knowing who and what they are and it is a blessing just to know them but to sample a taste of their love is heaven.

"Only full grown men need apply..." Great line! This poem is very nice, an interesting point of view -- usually we women read about an older man with a younger woman!
