Spring has broken through The icy barrier of winter air Spreading bright sunshine With a warm yellow flair.
The trees are shedding Millions of leaves to the ground
Making a carpet where you step With many shades of brown ,
Old Mr. Sunshine rose early today
Peeking through my windowpane Lighting up the room like a bulb Putting off that springtime rain.
Glorious spring! A season of growth
With all nature turning green overnight
Flowers budding and blooming quick Showing off a beautiful sight. The air is fresh with nature’s smells Inviting outside work and play Lawns to mow, water, and tend A peaceful setting on a sunny day.
Glorious spring! See it, touch it, Taste it, and smell its petals in bloom Thank God for all of nature’s blessings That take away the gloom ---of winter---

Ah, yes, Jeanette, the wonderful changing of seasons! Spring is an especially welcome time for most people. It signals the rebirth of all that has lain dull and dormant. Is there anything more glorious than the fresh smell of springtime following a morning shower?
