Garden of Friendship
It’s really wonderful to have true friends
And it’s never hard to tell who they truly are
Because they want to talk to you and listen
No matter when, where, why or how far.
They want to share your tears and joys
Cry when you cry, laugh when you laugh
Share in daily trials and tribulations
Be a part of your life like almost half and half.
To have such an unselfish friend
Is a generous blessing from God above
A gift given and received in faith
From someone who shares their love.
Cultivate those wonderful friendships
With family as well as people you know
You can plant a garden of friendships
With every word you say and sow.
