I have eyes in the back of my head To my children, this is what I’ve said For years they’d look at me With wide eyes so quizzically They still seem uncertain that it’s not true When my back is turned to them while they play a prank or two

I had to smile when I read this--my children (now grown)wondered if I had another set of eyes or if I practiced magic or something! It never dawned on them just how obvious they were.
