Team of Three........

Team of three kitties endowed with style and grace,
leap, run and climb wherever there is space.
Up the curtain, table and doorway,
no harm done they are only at play.

Each can leap with the agility of a bird,
cunning and quiet no sound can be heard.
They crawl, slither, slip and slide,
disappear, they know how to hide.

Chasing each other all over the house,
seems it is more fun than chasing a mouse.
Over the trains to the top of the freezer,
down on the counter, what a teaser.

One stops short, opens a cabinet door,
the other two run right into it for sure.
Gliding down the hallway on all fours,
they slip and slide using their paws.

Around the corner and into a room,
breathing hard they tire soon.
It will not be much longer they want to sleep,
getting quiet, do not hear a peep.

One found a warm spot up on the bed,
another chose pillows to rest her head.
The third cuddles up on a rocking chair,
swaying to and fro no worries,  not a care.
