Silent.......

                        Tonight is quiet,
                         outside is dark.
                     Street lights shining,
                     all is still in the park.

                        No stars in the sky,
                        the moon is hiding.
                        Clouds are moving,
                        on a breeze sliding.

                        Misty rain moving,
                       listen, but no sound.
                         Feel the moisture,
                       so cold on the ground.

                          Will it stay as rain,
                       or transform into snow.
                         Getting harder now,
                        can see the misty flow.

                        Landing on the leaves,
                         it glistens and shines.
                           Bringing new life,
                          to bushes and pines.

                              Inside is warm,
                           fireplace is glowing.
                         Hot chocolate on stove,
                         hear the wind blowing.
