Me, too!! Thank goodness you and I and a lot of our friends and cohorts at Author's Den have learned to treasure the children inside ourselves {& let 'em out to p l a y}, as well as the live-&-kickin-&-throwin'-&-skippin'-&-singin'+++++

When I was a kid we would play out in the piney woods along the many slues and creeks that meandered through our world. We turned an abandoned mill into a fort and had the time of our lives. Thanks for reminding me of that this day.
Oh, if only I half their energy! A very good write, Victoria. You put me right there in the park with you. ~~Bonnie Q

Parks are one of my favorite places also, Victoria...and kids are a blast to watch.
Your work here captures that overflowing energy and innocence...well done.

An excellent write Victoria. Very beautiful.
Greetings and Blessings.
Oh boy this poem hit the nail on the head. I just posted a poem Each Day An Adventure which brought me back to when I was a kid romping around. Love your write.
Nice one, Victoria.
Believe it or not, I've met people who actually don't like kids and who refer to them in contemptuous terms, such as "ankle biters."
Maybe people like that should walk in the park more often, particularly on a sunny Spring day when its ambience is made more joyful by the presence of kids at play! Or, alternatively, they should get the experience vicariously by reading this charming, evocative poem.
Victoria, this reminds me of when I used to take my kids to the park! The energy and the activity was unending, and we always had fun! Thank you so much for this simple reminder..... stay strong...

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,

this was a fun read
it also seemed to have a sense of foreboding realizing not only good people view the Kids at the Park and watch them before dark-
thanks,
